Victor MacGill's first book was published in 1995. It explores fairyDraons stories myths and Animated image of fairy story characterslegends and finds them to be maps of our journey of life. The characters of the stories reflect aspects of our inner nature. We all have a king, a princess, a wizard, a warrior and of course a dragon within us.

Using the Jungian concept of archetypes

W
elcome to a journey through an enchanted
land. You will meet many fairy story characters, who turn out to be aspects of our being. The lover teaches us compassion, the magician wisdom, the king authority, and the warrior courage. They teach us to face our dragons and lead us on a journey of healing.

By examining the stories we come to know ourselves better and recognise the story that is being played out in our lives. We learn to understand how we must work with our dragons. If we are too soft with them they devour us, but if we fight without acre for them, they will not lead us to the treasure that awaits us. By learning true compassion, we learn our dragons are only a part of oursleves calling out to be healed and bring us back to unity.

Come on a journey of exploration; a journey that requires courage, wisdom, authourity and love and a journey that will lead us to who we trutly are.

"When the prince leaves the castle fair,

the dragon stirs within its lair"

"This is not a journey for the faint hearted, for the dragons we encounter are real and will indeed devour us if they can. Most of us shrink back from the real adventure of life, preferring to live within the safe walls of the castle, rather than venture into a perilous world. There is a wonderful song of life within us waiting to be sung. But alas, most of us take our song with us to the grave. If we have the courage to sing it, we gain the king's treasure, a rich and meaningful life."
